Prayer Walk

Our weekend began on Saturday morning with Mass on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Feast of St. Anthony, grounding everything in prayer before stepping out into the community. After Mass, we gathered for a Rosary prayer walk, making five special stops along the way.
At St. Mary’s, we prayed that our parish may always be a place of welcome, compassion, and missionary love.
At a common gathering place for many of the vulnerable in our community, we prayed especially for those who are hurting, struggling, lonely, or carrying heavy burdens.
Outside St. Paul’s Hospital, we lifted up the sick, the suffering, the dying, their loved ones, and all healthcare workers who care for them with such dedication.
Along 20th Street, we prayed for all those who walk those streets each day and night — those facing homelessness, addiction, mental health struggles, food insecurity, and hardship — asking God to lead them to healing, hope, peace, and safety.
And at St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, we gave thanks for all the churches, denominations, and congregations who support this mission and work in unison for the good of our community, while also praying for peace in our world.
During the walk, we were also blessed with the opportunity to share some essentials and rosaries with a few of our friends who seek shelter around the church — a small but meaningful reminder that outreach is not only planned ministry, but ministry in the moment.
Immaculate Heart of Mary - pray for us
St Anthony- pray for us
